Equipment tires play a big role in the performance of a machines and ultimately impact the operation’s productivity whether they're a maintenance manager or engineer for OEM equipment.
In an October 1 webinar, "What to consider when it comes to your aggregate equipment tire maintenance" at 2 PM CDT/3PM EDT, Jeremy Edds, director of national account for MAXAM Tire North America, will examine several aspects they should consider.
These include how to best form a tire maintenance plan for a quarry and aggregate equipment such as loader, articulated dump trucks, graders, etc. We will discuss how to best pick the right tire size, why star rating and tread pattern matters.
Edds also will explore common tire failures and how to avoid them, the importance of daily inspections and mitigating potential road hazards. He'll also provide specific examples for these challenges and explain how develop a series of best practices around these maintenance practices can reduce downtime and improve the bottom line.
