HWB18 Sealed Power Distribution Module

Cole Hersee, the Commercial Vehicle Products division of Littelfuse, Inc., introduces the HWB18 sealed power distribution module (PDM), a compact PDM for use in space-constrained vehicle battery compartments.

• Features 18 slots
• Accepts plug-in circuit protection components with 280 style footprint, including Delphi MetriPack 280 terminals, cable seals, and cavity plugs
• Stands up to road splash and salt spray, providing robust protection to devices
• Ability to accept mini-fuses, relays, circuit breakers and diodes enables handling of added equipment frequently found in today’s heavy duty vehicles
• Measures 60 x 38 x 74 mm (2.4 x 1.5 x 2.9 in.)
• Well suited for use with accessory circuits, overflow circuits from main PDM, or as main module on smaller vehicles
• Includes IP67 sealing
• Can be installed virtually anywhere on vehicle
• Elimination of internal bussing allows user to customize circuitry with direct wire-to-component connections
• Terminal position assurance (TPA) locks provide secondary locking protection for wire leads, preventing them from being pulled out
• Available with or without a steel mounting bracket
• Snaps into bracket, and is held at a 30 degree angle to allow easy viewing and servicing
