The European division of Truck-Lite Co. LLC, one of the worldwide leaders in heavy-duty lighting and visibility solutions, has announced the latest innovation in LED lighting is available in Europe: the ECE-approved 7 in. Round and 5x7 in. LED Headlamps.
Truck-Lite is now offering an ECE-approved LED headlamp with the launch of the 7 in. Round and 5x7 in. LED Headlamps. These innovative headlamps were first developed for military usage and have been modified for the European market. The new 7 in. Round and 5x7 in. LED Headlamps have a rating of 5,800K on the Uniform Chromaticity Scale, compared to the 3,200K rating of many halogen bulbs. Truck-Lite's 7 in. Round and 5x7 in. LED Headlamps are ECE-approved so they are legal and available for on- and off-road vehicles.
Truck-Lite's 7 in. Round and 5x7 in. LED Headlamps were designed with cutting-edge LED arrays and complex reflectors, creating smooth, even light output and a clean streamlined appearance. The development of forward lighting into a 12 and 24V LED headlamp application means brighter, crisper and whiter light output than halogen alternatives. LED lighting has been shown to reduce drivers' fatigue, while also extending product life and increasing dependability. Truck-Lite's maintenance-free 7 in. Round and 5x7 in. LED Headlamps use a solid-state, bulb-free system that's impervious to damage caused by shock and vibration, with a military grade, die-cast aluminum housing, non-yellowing polycarbonate lens and a scratch-resistant hard coating to protect against damage from impact, roadside debris and other hazards.
Designed in a 7 in. round shape or a 5x7 in. rectangle, the product is able to be retrofitted into a multitude of applications, has high beam, low beam and position lamp function and can be mounted on a variety of vehicles, from tractors and airport tugs, to Land Rover Defenders, Jeeps and material-handling vehicles.
