Wacker Neuson Group at bauma 2016

The Wacker Newuson Group, and its Kramer division, will exhibit several new technologies at bauma including those with a focus on alternative drive systems.

The Wacker Neuson Group is presenting an exciting world of products, solutions and comprehensive services rendered at bauma 2016.

The brands Wacker Neuson and Kramer will be present in the open-air exhibition grounds at the stand 1109-1209 of the Wacker Neuson Group with an exhibition area of around 5,300 sq. m. In focus with both brands: Solutions with innovative performance features, which meet the growing customer requirements in terms of economic efficiency, performance, as well as environment and operator protection. This world of experience will be conveyed to visitors through demo shows and demo areas. The product exhibition will complete the experience. "For us, bauma is and remains the most important forum to present our power of innovation and performance to a crowd of experts," says Cem Peksaglam, CEO of the Wacker Neuson Group. "I can promise that a visit to our stand will be a real experience. In addition to various innovations and trade fair highlights, visitors will have the opportunity to get to know our extensive range of services rendered."

Solutions with innovative performance features

"Of course, we cannot yet disclose all of our new products for bauma. However, it has already been revealed that our engineers have worked hard on improvements and innovations in order to better meet customer needs and to provide real added value," says Martin Lehner, Chief Technology Officer at the Wacker Neuson Group. "Visitors can already look forward to various new features in terms of operator and environment friendliness, range of applications and innovative technologies."

A major topic for both brands is alternative drive systems. At bauma 2016, Wacker Neuson will present the battery-powered rammers AS30e and AS50e with improved travel speed. The vibratory rammers are part of the Wacker Neuson "zero emission" series, which also includes the electric wheel loader WL20e, the track dumper DT10e, as well as the mini-excavator 803 dual power. With the "zero emission" solutions, Wacker Neuson is serving the demand for emission-free machines. Kramer is also presenting a highlight in this area: the first all-wheel drive wheel loader with an electric drive system. The electric loader with nearly 2,000 kg of tipping load is perfect for emission-free work in indoor applications.

Thanks to a high battery capacity, the user does not experience any performance losses compared to conventionally operated machines and benefits from reduced operating and service costs due to the electric drive. With these forward-looking solutions, the Wacker Neuson Group is again proving its innovative leadership in the segment of alternative drive systems.

Both brands will present a cross-section of their product ranges and services rendered at bauma. The innovations, of which there will be many, will however be the focus. Kramer is presenting the compact tele-wheel loader 5065T. This machine completes the portfolio of universal wheel loaders with a telescoping load arm. Another highlight is the telehandler 2706, whose compact dimensions in height and width are below the 2 m limit. Its stacking height lifts loads up to nearly 6 m. It will be presented to an expert audience from the construction industry for the first time at the trade fair.

Within the range of soil compaction, Wacker Neuson is complementing its series of powerful vibratory plates, which are above all characterized with a very low hand-arm vibration (HAV), with the reversible vibratory plates DPU80, DPU90 and DPU110. The single drum soil
compactors RC50 and RC70 are now also available. The compact models of the 5- and 7-t class are characterized by their compact dimensions, a gradeability of up to 60% as well as their ease of operation.

The excavator models EZ80 and EZ53 with 8- and 5.3-t operating weights are celebrating their premiere at bauma 2016. With these two zero tail excavators — without tail swing — operators can also work efficiently in confined spaces, which often occur in urban areas. The excavator EZ53 convinces with its excavation and handling capacity and offers a particularly simple service access. The larger model EZ80 scores with a low fuel consumption and high excavation power. Clear displays, sliding windows that open on both sides, a two-piece
windshield, automatic air conditioning and the air-sprung driver’s seat with seat heating give the cabin a high level of comfort. These models complement the recently introduced series of track and wheeled excavators up to 10 t (ET65, ET90, EW65 and EW100), which have been in great demand since their market launch. All machines are extremely powerful thanks to the innovative kinematics and a bucket angle of rotation of over 200 degrees with a simultaneously very economical fuel consumption.

The new wheel dumper DW50 will also be presented for the first time at bauma. The dumper has compact dimensions, is extremely maneuverable and can hold its own with much larger models when it comes to the technical outfitting. The wide and safe access into the machine is particularly user friendly. It complements the series of low-maintenance, hydrostatic, all-wheel drive ECO mode units that above all stand out in uneven ground conditions due to the optimal off-road capability and traction. The DW60, DW90 and DW100 models with payloads of 6, 9 and 10 t are also part of the series.

Another new machine: The telehandler TH627 that has a stacking height of nearly 6 m. It is a versatile helper particularly in confined application areas. The new wheel loaders WL44 and WL54 have additional features in terms of comfort. A very sturdy design, large lifting heights, as well as a comfort cabin characterize the two powerful all-rounders.

In the area of concrete compaction, Wacker Neuson is presenting its entire product range of internal and external vibrators. The broad product range of internal vibrators will be at the center of attention. Based on the application, the customer can thus choose from a modular HMS system, the basic line IEC and IE or the premium lines IRFU or IREN. The modular premium system IRFUflex will be presented at bauma for the first time. It consists of a converter, which can be combined with various vibrator heads, and a protection hose length of 0.3-10 m. IRFUflex thus combines the flexibility of the models HMS, IE and IEC from the middle segment and the high degree of technological design and development and comfort from the time-tested and proven IRFU Series. With the concrete specialists, Wacker Neuson offers competent advice for concrete products and projects, which supplements the range of services rendered. Visitors have the opportunity to receive detailed advice about the topic of concrete compaction and to benefit from the knowledge of experts.

Experience services rendered live

The Wacker Neuson Group offers an extensive range of services rendered to be able to put together the right package for all customer needs. In this way, customized financing solutions can also be offered at very attractive conditions, as well as the telematics for a variety of products. Repair and maintenance with original spare parts, which are supplied within a very short period, is another facet that makes the Wacker Neuson Group an interesting partner.

"We can clearly set ourselves apart from other manufacturers with our services. That is why we will create a separate area at bauma where customers can convince themselves of our customer focus and quality of advice," says Peksaglam. "Even if the signs for 2016 are no longer as enjoyable as a year ago, there is still a high demand for infrastructure investments as well as modernization and rehabilitation world-wide. Just like in the past, bauma will continue to stimulate our European business and at the same time offer an ideal forum to make new contacts and to maintain customer relationships that have existed for many years."
