McNeilus Companies Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company, displayed six ready-mix vehicles from the Oshkosh Commercial Group at its booth #60716 in the South Hall at CONEXPO–CON/AGG 2014 in Las Vegas, NV.
Highlights of the McNeilus booth included the new McNeilus next generation drum and the innovative McNeilus Command Center touchscreen electronic controls.

“This is a very important show for us; among the many highlights are an all-new McNeilus next generation drum – with a patent pending drum design – and the state-of-the-art McNeilus Command Center touchscreen electronic control system.”
There were a total of six vehicles in the Oshkosh Commercial Group booth, including two McNeilus Standard mixers (one configured for export), two McNeilus Bridgemaster mixers, one London Standard mixer and an Oshkosh S-Series front discharge mixer configured with CNG power (on display courtesy of Silvi Group Companies).
The booth was highlighted by a McNeilus mixer truck, outfitted with advanced technologies including the all-new McNeilus next generation drum that moves the center of gravity down and forward to enhance capacity.
Its optional drumhead impeller minimized hydraulic drag. This same truck sports the innovative, easy to navigate McNeilus Command Center touchscreen electronic controls (with intuitive graphic icons) and an easy-to-operate joystick.
Six additional McNeilus mixer trucks were on display at CONEXPO–CON/AGG. These included: McNeilus Standard mixers located at the Kenworth booth (South Hall #63640), the Peterbilt booth (South Hall #63940) and the Mack booth (South Hall #60416).
In addition, McNeilus Bridgemaster mixers were on display at both the Freightliner booth (South Hall #61940), and at the Volvo booth (Silver Lot #4). A McNeilus Standard mixer (configured for export) will be demonstrated at the NRMCA driving competition.
“With 12 vehicles on display, it’s a prime opportunity to see and inspect a wide array of offerings from the Oshkosh Commercial Group,” adds Nelson.
