On this week’s episode of OEM Industry Update we speak with Drew Carruthers, Director of Product Strategy at CM Labs Simulations about the use of simulation to develop smart and connected machines. Use of simulation technology, such as the company’s Vortex Studio, enables engineering teams to iterate designs faster. It also allows for collaboration and scalability earlier in the design process, so the product is more vetted by the time it comes out, says Carruthers, which will be important as machines become smarter and more connected.
