Proventia to Develop & Supply Stage V Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems to MAN Engines

Proventia, a Finnish technology company known for its emission control solutions, has announced a new partnership with MAN Engines, a global manufacturer of engine solutions for a variety of applications, including yachts, workboats, agricultural machinery and power generators. MAN Engines – a business unit of MAN Truck & Bus – has chosen Proventia to be its development partner and supplier for selected exhaust aftertreatment systems for Stage V engines in non-road applications.

The collaboration will focus on the development and manufacturing of Stage V-compliant selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems. The systems will feature Proventia’s advanced NO_X reduction and thermal insulation technologies. They are designed to meet the stringent mechanical, operational and durability requirements required under harsh conditions of agricultural machinery.
