Horton receives 2012 Supplier of the Year award from PACCAR Parts

Horton announces it was a recent recipient of a 2012 Supplier of the Year award from PACCAR Parts for demonstrating capabilities in areas such as parts availability and cost performance.

Horton Inc., a premium provider of innovative engine cooling solutions, was recently honored with the 2012 Supplier of the Year award from PACCAR Parts. The award acknowledges suppliers who demonstrate excellence in operational efficiency, parts availability, cost performance and program support.

In 2012, Horton participated in all PACCAR dealer events and provided training to over 1,000 Kenworth and Peterbilt dealer personnel. The company offers training for a wide range of Horton products, including an on-demand DM Advantage On/Off and Two-Speed Fan Drive training program customized for PACCAR.

“We’re pleased to recognize Horton’s achievements with this award,” says Karl Mowat, General Marketing Manager for PACCAR Parts. “The company’s outstanding customer service, product availability and training demonstrate their commitment to support our dealers and customers.”

The award was presented on July 16, 2013 at PACCAR Parts in Renton, WA, by David Danforth, PACCAR Parts General Manager and Christina DeVange, Product Director from PACCAR Parts to Horton representatives Geert Henk Touw, President and CEO and Jeff Lindgren, Senior Vice President of Sales.

“We are extremely honored to receive the 2012 Supplier of the Year award from PACCAR Parts,” says Lindgren. “In addition to remanufactured fan drives, all-makes parts and aftermarket conversion kits, Horton offers PACCAR customers the broadest range of replacement fan drive technologies and high-efficiency fans to best meet their application requirements.”

Horton also provides a QuickShip Warehouse Program, user-friendly catalog and other value-added services to support PACCAR. Horton’s QuickShip Warehouse program incorporates 14 locations to fulfill smaller, urgent orders and provide one-day ground delivery to all U.S. and Canadian markets.
