The KOHLER Hybrid Energy Module is a combined hybrid and mechanical power unit.

It generates power via a KDW 1003 18 kW diesel engine and 48V electric motor.

The power base is provided by the combustion engine, and peak power by the electric motor.

The current focus is on two power modes 19 kW, 56 kW.

It can work as an energy recovery system to optimize energy use of the machine.
