NTEA recently published the U.S. Construction Sector Report, which evaluates overall market conditions and future expectations. This study contains data-based insights on the construction sector, providing readers with tools to assist with their long-term planning.

“As the construction sector continues to grow and evolve, NTEA’s U.S. Construction Sector Report provides additional awareness of the dynamics and market potential for the sector and will help the commercial vehicle industry be better prepared to support this critical end-use market,” says NTEA Managing Director Doyle Sumrall.

The report goes into great detail, explaining how the construction sector of the economy and the commercial truck and truck equipment industry are expected to continue growing in 2018 and 2019. It points out that, like all economic expansions, there will be structural shifts. In the construction sector, growth will likely accelerate in the residential segment and decelerate in the nonresidential segment. This shift will influence growth rates of various types of trucks and truck equipment. In the report, supporting data is presented by sector (public versus private), vehicle type, region, state, weight class, and more.
