Sales for medium- and heavy-duty trucks rose 10% in July compared to July 2012, but were down 4% from June's sales numbers.
Class 8 truck sales were down 7% in July compared to 2012 while Class 7 sales rose 9%.
Overall truck sales in 2013 are 5% higher than 2012 sales by this time period. Class 7 and 8 trucks are the only classes which have decreased in sales this year while Class 6 truck sales have had the highest increase at 26%.
