The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) is offering free registration to area students and educators to attend the NFPA 2013 Regional Fluid Power Career Fair on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center, 11800 108th Street, Pleasant Prairie, WI. Students should bring their resume. NFPA member companies located in and around southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois will be present to interview candidates about current job openings.
There are hundreds of job openings in the fluid power (hydraulics and pneumatics) field. According to a recent Fluid Power Industry Workforce Needs Survey, 75% of the manufacturers surveyed are expecting to hire positions such as machinists, mechanical engineers, industrial engineering technicians and sales engineers with two to four years of education.
Students and faculty will have the opportunity to talk to fluid power companies about possible internships or full- or part-time employment careers in a growing industry.
