Deliveries of Volvo Group trucks increased 8% in April

Deliveries of trucks from the Volvo Group increased 8% in April, with Europe and North America seeing the largest increases.

Deliveries from the Volvo Group’s truck operations in April 2015 amounted to 17,715 vehicles. This was an increase of 8% compared with the year-earlier month.

In April 2015, truck deliveries rose by 24% in Europe and by 18% in North America. Deliveries in South America were down by 42% while deliveries rose by 9% in Asia. In total the Volvo Group’s wholly-owned operations delivered 17,715 trucks, which was 8% more than in April 2014.
