P-Q Controls, a global player in the design and manufacture of industrial handheld controls and level sensors, has obtained certification in the ISO 9001:2008 standard for its headquarters in Bristol, CT, and its additional production facility in Dover-Foxcroft, ME.
The ISO 9001:2008 standard outlines requirements for a quality management system. Companies worldwide use this standard to develop systems which improve efficiency, communication, problem-solving and customer relations.
ISO Certification requires a lengthy and thorough auditing process. “We were forced to look critically at every aspect of our operation prior to obtaining certification,” says Quality Manager John Snyder. “But as a result of this process, we have become more confident than ever in our high level of quality.” P-Q Controls was audited and certified by American Systems Registrar (ASR), an ANAB accredited and IATF approved registrar.
