The Brake Noise Problem Resolution seminar from SAE will provide information and training on how to implement damping mechanisms and tools to reduce brake noise in vehicle designs. 

Once completed with the course, attendees will be able to: 

  • Describe the various brake shim damping mechanisms
  • Compare the various brake shims available in the market place
  • Describe the various tools available to reduce brake noise
  • Utilize lessons learned in various brake noise problem case studies

This seminar will be held directly after the SAE 2013 Noise and Vibration Conference and Exhibition, also taking place at the DeVost Place Convention Center in Grand Rapids, MI.

Additional sessions of this course will be held April 5 in Troy, MI and October 10 in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.
