The CDC (Continuous Damping Control) electronic damping system from ZF is an electronically adjustable damping system which helps increase safety and comfort for vehicle operators.

Permanently monitors all influences such as driver actions and vehicle movements, and controls dampers accordingly
Combination of proportional valve on damper and electronic control unit enables damping forces to be adjusted in fractions of a second as required by any given driving situation
Enhances ride comfort, such as when drivers face changing conditions (off-road, on-road, etc)
Reduces strain on vehicle components, lowering maintenance costs
Dynamic adjustment of damping forces decreases driver fatigue
