Southco E5 Shutter Cam Latch

Southco Inc. has introduced the E5 Shutter Cam Latch to its E5 Cam Latch Series, offering a latch designed to prevent accidental opening.

• Drop bushing feature adds additional security by preventing cam from rotating open in high vibration applications
• Designed with spring loaded bushing that covers driver recess
• Bushing remains in the depressed position in the event that the latch is not entirely closed, providing visual indication the latch is unsecured
• Bushing is designed with longer travel distance, providing enhanced security
• Features flush, low profile design to provide clean appearance, and minimize dust and debris collection that may affect operation
• Meets NEMA 4 and IP65 standards for water and dust protection, as well as EN61373 shock and vibration standard for railway applications
• Variety of grip lengths possible
• Available in numerous head style options for added security
• Features same panel hole prep as standard series, and is available with separate latch and cam assembly to promote modular use
