The Oerlikon Drive Systems Segment, with its two brands Oerlikon Graziano and Oerlikon Fairfield, worldwide leader in the field of precision gearing, transmission solutions and driveline systems, will attend the CTT 2013 in Moscow, from June 04 to 08, Hall 13 – Booth 466. Its innovative technologies and solutions make the company the preferred partner for co-design, testing and manufacturing drive solutions used in a wide range of applications to operate machinery and equipment for construction, energy, mining, transportation and agriculture. Among the technologies on display will be the latest Shifting Solutions (Synchronizers and Powershifts) and the Torque Hub family.
With manufacturing locations in key markets and more than 5,000 employees worldwide, the company is covering four business units – Americas, EMEAR, China and India – and they all answer to a singular standard: Excellence, in product, in performance, in customer support.
The EMEAR division is specialized in Shifting Solutions, designing and producing synchronizers and powershift clutch assemblies, off-highway transmissions and automotive gearbox axles for premium cars, AWD assemblies, and transmissions for electric/hybrid vehicles. Technological excellence, combined with the flexibility and services offered to customers, make the company a leading supplier in these markets.
The Americas are covered by the historical North American facility (Lafayette, IN), one of the largest integrated gear manufacturing operations in the world, encompassing 14 acres of advanced machine tools within a single structure. This business area’s major competencies include design, development and manufacturing of custom gears, custom drive assemblies and planetary drives. The Torque Hub brand of drives is known throughout the world as highly reliable, well-engineered solutions for the most demanding of applications. The new offices have been placed also in Brazil, to cover the South America area that is strongly expanding in these last years.
In China, Oerlikon Segment Drive Systems first established a manufacturing presence in 2005 to be closer to its customers in this key market. The latest expansion is a strategic investment to allow further growth in the region by providing complete drive solutions with full local support. The Suzhou factory covers a 22,000 m2 area, has comprehensive gear manufacturing and assembly facilities and its own heat treatment plant. The Shanghai office hosts the sales team for both Oerlikon Graziano and Oerlikon Fairfield, together with Application Engineering and Customer Service.
In India Oerlikon Segment Drive Systems is today a strong asset to expand the business. Gears and transmission components for high quality applications make the company a full gear solution provider to all top Players in India in construction equipment, agricultural tractors and commercial vehicles. The two plants, located in Greater Noida and Belgaum, cover both the product lines produced by the brands
Oerlikon Fairfield and Oerlikon Graziano, ensuring a strategic presence in the high-tech solutions demanded in India.
The CTT Moscow will be the occasion for Drive Systems Sales staff and Engineers to meet current and new customers, reinforcing the presence of both brands in the Russian area and showing and exhibiting their new and innovative product lines.
