Trelleborg and AGCO Corporation have renewed their long-term agreement whereby the two companies undertake to cooperate in development and product innovation of agricultural tires.

"Following the recognition of Trelleborg as the best EAME (Europe, Africa and Middle East) Supplier in September 2012, this new agreement with AGCO is an important confirmation of our solid business relationship. It provides a firm foundation for the accomplishment of our ambitious future mutual goals,” says Stefano Bettinelli, OE Director at Trelleborg’s Agricultural and Forestry Tires division.

In June 2011, Trelleborg invested in a new factory in China. Shorty after, Trelleborg was approved by AGCO Corporation as a major tire supplier for the tractors produced in its Changhzou plant.

Commencing in 2000, the collaboration between Trelleborg and AGCO has been consolidated over the years. This has been possible thanks to successful projects and initiatives between the two Companies and to the progressive affirmation of both brands in the market.

Bertrand Blampey, Global Commodity Manager, Axles & Tires at AGCO, stated: “This new agreement perfectly matches AGCO’s strategy focusing on quality, sustainability, innovation and customer satisfaction."
