Comer Industries, through its  U.S. branch Comer Industries Inc., Charlotte, NC, will be participating at CONEXPO–CON/AGG 2014, the international trade expo for major global manufacturers of construction equipment that takes place from March 4 to 8, 2014 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV, USA (Stand 82130, Stand Area South 3-4).

CONEXPO–CON/AGG 2014 will feature 2,400 exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in equipment, products and services plus extensive industry-targeted education. Over 130,000 attendees are expected, ranging from contractors, to dealers and distributors, to service providers, engineers, producers, municipalities, etc.

Comer Industries is implementing significant improvement toward excellence through its new Comer Business System aimed at delighting customers with an ever-enhancing service experience. Products on show at CONEXPO are the result of the execution of a range renewal strategy covering axles, wheel drives and heavy-duty track drives. Comer Industries’ commitment towards R&D, as well as its 25-year experience in developing specialized off-highway axles, have recently resulted in a deep redesign of product line, supply chain and
manufacturing, carried out through a dedicated NPD team, that adopts APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning).

Comer Industries’ top products at CONEXPO–CON/AGG will be the series of new-generation axles starting from S-228, which delivers the highest braking and efficiency performance for the category, and of  heavy-duty track drives PGRF-7003/11003 for track mobile equipment (crawling forestry machines, drill rigs and excavators, compactors, cranes) and for winches or milling applications, which represent compact, flexible and robust solutions.

Comer Industries will also showcase the planetary drive PG-3503PR for crawler cranes and drilling machines, featuring a compact output that provides high performance for maximum torque and loads, axle S-128 for application on compact telehandlers and wheeled excavators, planetary drive PG-954PR for use on concrete pumps.

Other products on display will be the planetary drive PGRF-25004 for very large winches and fully tested at Comer Industries’ Mechatronics Research Center; the  slewing drive PG-5003PR for tower crane applications; the wheel drive PGR-402 with automatic shift, designed to equip tracked self-propelled machines with an operating weight up to 7 tons; the track drive PGRF-802 for crawler equipment; the PGRF-2403 single speed planetary drive for road rollers and the PGRF-1702 drum drive for compactors.
