Meritor supplying components for Oshkosh JLTV Program

Meritor, Inc. announces it plans to supply wheel-ends for approximately 17,000 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTV) to be manufactured by Oshkosh Corporation. The Department of Defense awarded the eight-year JLTV production contract to Oshkosh on August 25, 2015.

Meritor's bevel gear hub wheel-ends will help optimize the Oshkosh JLTV's payload capability and mobility. "For more than half a century, we've supported our troops by delivering technology solutions for military applications," says Tim Burns, Vice President, Defense & Specialty for Meritor. "We're proud to support this next-generation light, protected tactical vehicle for the Army and Marine Corps."
