AxleTech International, the world's premier supplier of off-highway and specialty vehicle drivetrain systems and components, headquartered in Troy, MI, announces that Jonathan Ball joined the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). 
As a seasoned financial executive, Ball will be responsible for ensuring that the global finance and accounting organization enables the company to drive growth in existing and new heavy-duty drivetrain markets. "Jonathan brings years of experience leading financial organizations and I look forward to his help in bolstering AxleTech's position as the leading global specialty drivetrain technology company," says Bill Gryzenia, Chief Executive Officer at AxleTech.
Ball most recently managed his own consulting firm, Spherical Consulting LLC., for the past 7 years. In connection with his work at Spherical Consulting, he served most recently as CFO of Key Plastics LLC, and prior to that, CFO of JAC Products Inc. Ball has also served as Director at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, LLP, and CFO of Jervis B. Webb Company.
Ball is a registered Certified Public Accountant and holds Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from the University of Michigan.
