JOST JSK37USK Series Air-Release Fifth Wheel with Sensor Technology

JOST International has introduced the JSK37USK Series air-release fifth wheel with sensor technology.  

• Sensor Coupling System allows driver to confirm fifth wheel is properly and safely coupled from inside the cab  
• Provides next step in automated coupling process, particularly as trucks and trailers move toward more aerodynamic designs, which will make physically accessing and confirming coupling difficult
• Sensor Coupling System contains dual sensors
• First sensor verifies kingpin is in lock position 
• Second sensor indicates fifth wheel is locked and release handle secured
• Lock status can be shown either by JOST supplied dash display or communicated through vehicle’s CANbus
