BKT is set to make a large presence at SEMA 2018 - the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world, taking place in Las Vagas from October 30 to November 2, 2018. The Indian multinational group will be displaying in three different locations its top-of-the-range products from the Eartmax lineup for the OTR sector as well as a selection of farming and industrial tires. For the first time, the SR713 tire will be showcased: a brand-new VF all-steel product specific for implements.
BKT is not only tires. In all BKT locations, Monster Jam also makes a big presence, since BKT is the Official and Exclusive Tire Manufacturer of Monster Jam with all competing Monster Trucks equipped with invincible Monster Jam tires.
SEMA 2018 is also a very special occasion for BKT and its chairman, Arvind Poddar, who has been announced as this year’s honoree for the prestigious TIA Hall of Fame Award and will be officially inducted into the Association’s Hall of Fame.
The Main Booth
At the main BKT booth (located in the Lower South Hall - #41137) the brand-new SR-713 tire is being unveiled. Showcased in size VF 445/65 R 22.5, this all-steel radial tire is specific for farm implements. This VF tire provides reduced soil compaction with a larger footprint and has excellent speed levels on paved roads. The steel body, steel belts, and multi-rib pattern are specially designed for low rolling resistance and uniform tread wear.

The Earthmax lineup is also put on display with EARTHMAX SR48, engineered for rigid haul trucks and ideal for heavy loads thanks to its extraordinary tread resistance, and EARTHMAX SR55, designed for loaders in quarry and mining operations, and the SR51 for loaders and dozers with exceptional traction, sidewall protection, and cut-resistance.
From OTR with the PORTMAX PM93 for intermodal transport for straddle carriers in port container handling operations, these products represent just a few of the applications in which BKT operates. The company has one of the most extensive product portfolios worldwide in off-highway tires, including ATV applications. For this reason, the BKT Yamaha ATV vehicle and the Brodozer Monster Jam Truck are not to be missed at the main booth. Celebrity Monster Truck Drivers will be on site to sign autographs each day from 10:00 to 12:00.
Outdoor Display Locations
BKT also has two outdoor lots. The first one is #61017 and is hosting the Monster Jam Experience: a large Semi-Trailer with a Grave Digger Monster Jam Truck inside. Visitors can sit inside the truck for a great photo opportunity! It also has interactive video games, giveaways, and tires on display.
The second outdoor location is #V506 and the BKT Monster Truck is on display.

BKT will also be honoring its chairman at the Tire Industry Honors Awards Ceremony at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel on October 29, one day before the opening of the SEMA show. Poddar is being inducted into the Tire Industry Association Hall of Fame, TIA’s highest honor and one of the most prestigious accolades of the tire industry at a global level. Poddar’s motto is “Work is worship” and his life is an example of truth and simplicity.
