Continental Tire the Americas, LLC (“Continental”) has added a medium radial truck tire to its suite of products for construction and severe duty trucking applications. The Continental HSC1 (Heavy Steer Construction) is a steer tire design developed by Continental’s commercial vehicle tire research and development team for the Americas.

- Tread pattern and contour reduce stone retention and improve impact resistance
- Offers optimum casing value and long lifetime
- Available in sizes 11R22.5 and 11R24.5 for load range H, with 12R sizes yet to come
- Utilizes on/off road compounding for increased resistance to tread cuts, chips and chunks and reduces depth of tread damage
- “Stable” bead construction provides structural durability and extended product life
- Four-ply belt with reinforced second and third belt prevents fatigue fractures and withstands highly concentrated pressure
