Hella, Inc., launches the Hella Mega Beam LED Work Lamp Generation II. The low power consumption requirement of the Mega Beam’s LEDs makes it ideally suited for use on battery-operated vehicles or vehicles where the alternator is under heavy load.
- Four high-performance LEDs provide 600 lumens of light output with power consumption of 15 W
- Creates bright white light at temperature of 6500 K, providing close range illumination similar to daylight
- Enables color distinction in the dark, making perception to human eye easier and preventing fatigue
- Durability provides resistance to impact, vibrations and fluctuations in voltage
- Provides service life 130 times longer than halogen bulbs
- Integrated electronics protect against reverse polarity and assure constant brightness even at fluctuating operating voltage from 9 to 33 V
- Die-cast housing and integrated cooling fins prevent overheating
- Sealed to IP6K7 and IP6K9K for use in severe conditions
- Features stainless steel, heavy duty-mounting bracket
- Reverse polarity protection and a fault jumper ensures function even in the event of failure
- Measures 4.33 in. H x 4.72 in. W (110mm x 120mm)
- Operating temperature range from -40 F to 122 F (-40 C to 50 C)
