A Heinzmann hybrid drive is the heart of the multifunctional excavator 12MTX from Mecalac who won the two main prizes in this competition: Intermat Gold Award in the Machinery category and the Intermat Green Award.
• Developed 15/30 kW electric motor and electronics with Mecalac and Cummins
• Motor is integrated in the flywheel casing of the Cummins engine
• Can also be used in gaseous fuelled and gasoline engines
• Reduced fuel consumption, improved drive system performance, emission reductions
