AM Equipment introduces an encoded version of its 240 Series DC gear motor suitable for precision actuation applications. 

• Integrated two-channel encoder
• Uses 5V signal to report speed, direction and incremental position
• Allows precise control of movement in applications where motion can be interrupted and rapid recovery is required 
• Well suited for outdoor applications which require a reliable high-torque motor, such as vocational trucks, construction and agricultural equipment, and robots
• Low power draw suits battery-powered applications where time between charging can be extended 
•   12V input and 40 Nm output  
• Bidirectional, single speed
• Encoder resolution of 520 pulses per output revolution 
• Sealed connectors to allow safe operation in dirty environments 
• Longer brush length and improved compound for longer brush life 
• Two standard output shaft options of 11 mm (0.43 in.) diameter with 40 mm (1.6 in.) flat and 12 mm (0.47 in.) diameter with 4 mm (0.16 in.) wide keyway and snap ring groove
