ORBCOMM Inc., a global provider of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) solutions, announces that its Chief Executive Officer, Marc Eisenberg, received the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2014 New Jersey Award in the Communications and Marketing category. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Eisenberg was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a special gala event at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick on Thursday, June 26.

“I am honored to receive this prestigious award along with some of New Jersey’s most talented and driven entrepreneurs,” says Eisenberg. “This award is a testament to the innovation, energy and dedication of our outstanding team. I am very proud of the tremendous growth and success we have achieved thus far, but I believe the best is yet to come.”

Now in its 28th year, the program has honored the inspirational leadership of such entrepreneurs as Howard Schultz of Starbucks Coffee Company, Pierre Omidyar of eBay Inc., and Mindy Grossman of HSN.
