Continuing the company’s leadership in innovation for position measurement in mobile hydraulic applications, MTS Systems Corp., Sensors Division is introducing two new products at AG CONNECT 2013 in Kansas City, MO, January 29 to 31, 2013.
Designed especially for the agricultural machine market, the MH-Series Model MH-Agri sensor caters to specific industry requirements for in-cylinder position measurement. This offers manufacturers a highly reliable, repeatable and accurate analog output. Key features include:
- Voltage output with 12V DC power supply
- 140 V/m EMI protection, over 200 V/m inside the cylinder
- IP 69k environmental protection using our M12x1 connector system for installation into the hydraulic cylinder
- Up to 1m/40 in. measuring range
- Cost-optimized design
For retrofit applications, as well as those applications where the use of internal sensors is not possible, MTS Sensors developed the external MH-Series Model MSR Sensor. It is a self-contained sensor with all the advantages of a non-contact magnetostrictive position sensor.
