Baumer aims to strengthen its position in force and strain measurement with the acquisition of the Swiss company X-Sensors AG. For 25 years, X-Sensors has developed and produced high-precision force and strain sensors for special applications by leading OEMs.
With the acquisition of X-Sensors Baumer will expand its high-performance portfolio in force and strain sensor technology, and the merger of the development teams will further strengthen Baumer's position in this field.
According to the company, until further notice, customers will be managed via the existing sales channels. In the mid-term, the product range of X-Sensors will be adopted into the Baumer portfolio.
