BLST Series Remote HID Ballast

The Phoenix BLST Series is an indoor/outdoor hazardous rated, weatherproof high intensity discharge (HID) remote ballast used in conjunction with a variety of heavy-duty Phoenix HID light fixtures.

• Housing is made from extruded marine-grade, low-copper content aluminum alloy for resistance to corrosion
• Exposed hardware is stainless steel to further protect against corrosion
• Components are mounted in insulated chambers for increased heat dissipation
• Housing is sealed and protected against moisture and debris with EPDM gaskets on end caps and neoprene o-ring gaskets on cap screws
• Available lamp types include high pressure sodium (200 to 1,000W), metal halide (150/175 to 1,500W), pulse start metal halide (400 to 1,000W), CSI metal halide (1,000W) and mercury vapor (400 to 1,000W)
• Standard minimum starting temperature is -40 F (-40 C) for high pressure sodium lamp type
• Units available in dual volt (120/277V; 60 Hz), quad volt (120/208/240/277V; 60 Hz), triple voltage (120/277/347V; 60 Hz for use in Canada) and 480V; 60 Hz
• Some models available in other voltages and in 50 Hz
• Can be directly mounted to surface with 1/2 in. hex (1.27 cm) bolts on housing channel or with supplied adjustable brackets to fit a variety of surfaces
• Enclosure measures 12 in. Long x 7.5 in. Wide x 5.6 in. Deep (30 cm x 19 cm x 14 cm)
