F02 Pressure Transmitter

In order to comply with the highly complex requirements of the new 2006/42/EG machinery guidelines, Sensor-Technik Wiedemann GmbH (STW) has developed the F02 pressure transmitter.

• Possesses necessary properties required by the EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC 61508 standards for the compliance of functional safety
• Well suited for use in systems requiring PLd Performance Level or a Safety Integrity Level of SIL2
• Protects against external influences such as vibrations, EMC and thermal stress loads
• Features thin-film measurement cell welded to pressure adapter
• Compatible with wide range of media
• Displays high level of mechanical stability
• Available in pressure ranges of 10 to 1,000 bar
• Output signal is present on two outputs in parallel, though the second output presents an inverted signal
• Users are able to choose between a ratiometric and 4-20 mA output using three wires
• Maximum allowable media temperature range is -40 to 150 C
• Overall error is better than 1% FS in the compensated range of 0 to 80 C
• Electric contact is ensured via a 5-pin M12 plug
• Transmitter naturally possesses E1 accreditation for its areas of application
