IX-403 AVL-GPS/GPRS System

PreCise MRM, a subsidiary of FORCE America, has unveiled its latest advancement in AVL-GPS/GPRS technology for plow trucks, the IX-403. The IX-403 GPS device is a rugged, full-featured mobile resource management system. 

• Allows municipal truck fleet managers to monitor location and productivity, measure material usage and maintain a snapshot of maintenance needs of vehicle
• Helps measure, control and reduce salt and other road treatment chemical usage
• Input Tracking monitors up to six digital or analog inputs for data collection on plow position, service components, impact sensors, engine temperature sensors and more
• Plow Spreader Control integrates with controls such as FORCE America SSC5100 and 6100 spreader controllers
• Monitors 37 winter maintenance events
• Automates driver logs for greater accuracy
• Reduces fuel via optimized routing and identifying idle time and speeding
• Communication options include GSM - cellular, WiFi or a combination of both
