Daedong Industrial Company LTD. of KIOTI Tractor Division has launched the Daedong Tier 4 ECO Common Rail Diesel Engine. The Daedong Tier 4 ECO Engine was previewed at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, KY, in February 2013.
- Features common rail direct injection, cooled exhaust gas recirculation and diesel particulate filter (DPF) to fulfill and exceed Tier 4 requirements by 10%
- Includes electronically controlled high-pressure common rail system (1,800 bar) with direct injection and optimized combustion chamber
- Extreme climate and altitude tests indicate capability of start up with optimal injection pressure, injection timing and fuel pressure
- Maintains performance and reliability during prolonged exposure to extreme heat and elevation conditions
