Quantum Fuel Systems recieves order for large-diamater fuel tanks from heavy-duty truck manufacturer

Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide Inc., a global leader in natural gas storage systems, integration and vehicle system technologies, announces it received a $5.3 million order for its industry leading large-diameter Q-Lite CNG storage tanks. The order includes certain add-on features that could drive the total value of the order to in excess of $6.0 million. 

"The order represents continued strong interest in converting heavy duty class 8 trucks to compressed natural gas (CNG)," says Brian Olson, President and CEO of Quantum. "Our high-capacity, light-weight type IV tank technology is gaining momentum in the heavy duty marketplace due to its ability to offer the needed range for this market segment."
