The WORKMASTER 50, 60 and 70 (53 to 70 gross horsepower) utility tractors boast a new look, new Tier 4 Final FPT common rail engines and new 600TL Series front-end loaders.

“Rural lifestylers, landscapers, farmers, contractors and municipalities alike can depend on these utility tractors to provide reliable performance at a very attractive price,” says Todd DeBock, New Holland’s Pro Work Tools Segment Marketing Leader. “These hard-working tractors are not only easy to operate and maintain, they offer advanced features while still focusing on affordability.”

Modern New Holland styling

The most obvious change to these tractors is on the outside: the new WORKMASTER tractors have been restyled with the New Holland tractor family look with curved hood and fenders and a new lighting package. The sloped hood provides exceptional forward visibility. The view is enhanced by four lights that illuminate the work area to both front and side for greater productivity and safety when operating in the early or late hours of the day.

New FPT engine: Tier 4 Final compliant; higher torque rise

Inside, the WORKMASTER 50, 60 and 70 models are powered by new FPT Tier 4 Final emissions-compliant, three-cylinder turbo-charged engines.

To meet tough Tier 4 Final emissions standards, the New Holland emissions treatment system uses a combination of internal exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) to control nitrogen oxides (NOx) and a particulate matter (PM) catalyst. Unlike other tractors that require extra fluids, or that use a diesel particulate filter (DPF) that must be “regenerated,” the New Holland system is completely automatic, with no need to stop working while the tractor regenerates.

The new engines also produce more torque for increased performance. Compared to the Tier 3 engines in previous models, the new WORKMASTER tractors benefit from greater torque rise—up to 28% on the WORKMASTER 70—for more responsive power in tough conditions under load, like mowing in tall grass with a rotary cutter or digging into a packed pile of material with a front-end loader.

Features not found in all value tractors

The WORKMASTER 50, 60 and 70 models feature an 8Fx8R mechanical gear transmission with four synchronized gears, two constant mesh ranges and a synchronized shuttle. The synchronized shuttle transmission makes change of direction easy because there’s no need to come to a complete stop when shuttling, a real plus for fast, efficient front-end loader work. This high-performance feature provides quick changes in direction with a dash-mounted shuttle lever located to the left of the steering wheel for effortless maneuvering. For added traction and
performance in tough, slippery conditions, the four-wheel-drive axle option increases productivity.

New 600TL Series Utility Loaders

Team up a new 600TL Series front-end loader with a WORKMASTER tractor for an unbeatable combination of power and versatility for lifting, hauling, cleaning barnyards and landscaping chores. Four models, with a hefty lift capacity of up to 2,733 lbs. and up to 4,000 lbs. of breakout force, are offered.* Mechanical self-leveling is available on the 616TL and 626TL models for precise loader operation. All models have optional third function hydraulics and choice of SSL or Euro style bucket attaching system.
