Perkins Pacific, a leading North American distributor and remanufacturer for Perkins engines, announces the expansion of its territory to include Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico and the opening of a new full-service location in Oklahoma City.
Perkins Pacific was selected by Perkins Engines Company Ltd. for territory expansion due to the company’s 26 years of experience as a Perkins distributor, its five full-service locations across the Western U.S., investments in facilities, skilled engineering team and success as a remanufacturer.
The expansion marks continued growth and success for the company, which has seen sustained growth since its founding and initial two-state territory. Perkins Pacific now serves customers in 15 Western states, from Alaska to Texas, and is one of the largest diesel engine remanufacturers in the U.S.
The change strengthens the company’s sales and service network and provides customers in the new territory access to Perkins Pacific’s comprehensive power solutions. In addition to its five sales and service facilities, Perkins Pacific offers customers extended service though its large, 23-dealer network.
“Our territory expansion allows us to better meet the engine and power demand of each state at a more local level,” says Andy Machin, Vice President of Perkins Pacific. “Our talented and deeply knowledgeable staff will be able to assist customers in the new territory to specify their power needs and provide engineering solutions for optimal performance and added value.”
A new full-service location has also been opened in Oklahoma City to help meet customer needs in the Eastern half of the Perkins Pacific territory. An experienced team has been hired to help meet local demand in the new state and Troy Luedecke has been selected as Regional Manager. The facility opened June 1 and is located at 4253 Will Rogers Parkway, Oklahoma City, OK, 73108.
