FPT Industrial is powering the new T5 tractor from its sister brand New Holland Agriculture with the N45, a reliable and powerful engine compliant with Stage V emission regulations. The engine was on display at New Holland’s stand at EIMA 2018 in Bologna (Hall 16, stand A9).

With FPT Industrial’s know-how and research, the N45 enables a seamless transition to Stage V emissions regulations. To achieve this goal, FPT has further improved the model to maintain the efficiency and reliability for which the NEF family is renowned.

The New Holland T5 tractor features the 4-cylinder engine which delivers maximum power of 114 kW at 1,800 rpm and maximum torque of 630 Nm at 1,300 rpm.

The T5 tractor has won an EIMA Technical Innovation Contest Award, which recognizes innovative products in the agriculture and gardening sectors. The tractor was chosen for its engine, amongst other features, which utilizes exclusive HI-eSCR2, the FPT Industrial patented aftertreatment system which guarantees Stage V compliance, and that enables it to remains maintenance-free, with low-operating costs and high performance.

FPT’s technology is fully integrated, combining all key elements under the same hood: Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), AdBlue injector and an SCR system with filter.

The system improves visibility and maneuverability, increases the versatility of use and the safety of the operator during inter-row and hay work, as it provides greater ground clearance. The HI-eSCR2 does not require replacement during the lifecycle of the tractor, reducing maintenance costs.
