From February 17–20, 2019, the U.S. subsidiary DEUTZ Corporation will showcase the company’s versatile drive systems at the ARA Rental Show (American Rental Association), the annual meeting and trade fair of the rental industry, in Anaheim, CA. The highlight will be two innovative diesel engines in the sub-19 kW power range. The new D1.2 engine is one of the products that will be on display at the Rental Show, booth 6301.The new D1.2 engine is one of the products that will be on display at the Rental Show, booth 6301.DEUTZ Corp.

The DEUTZ D1.2 is a new addition to the engine family in the sub-19 kW power range. DEUTZ is offering this engine as well as another new model, the D1.7, to better meet the needs of customers who want to efficiently power machines such as aerial platforms, welders, trenching equipment and mini skid-steer loaders – machines that are very much in demand in the rental industry. The performance data is impressive. The DEUTZ D1.2 is a naturally aspirated, three-cylinder engine with 1.2 L cubic capacity and output of up to 19 kW. The DEUTZ D1.2 is particularly innovative, as it can be used in combination with the company’s new electric E-DEUTZ products. The company is now able to offer its customers complete hybrid solutions that are efficient and environmentally friendly.

As a specialist in the exchange engine business, the DEUTZ Corporation will of course also feature its DEUTZ Xchange business at the trade fair. DEUTZ completely remanufactures its Xchange engines to original blueprint specifications, providing a vastly superior alternative to today’s standard market engine rebuild. One example is the DEUTZ D2011 exchange engine, which the company will present at the ARA Rental Show.

The company will also feature the tried and tested DEUTZ TCD 2.9 and TCD 4.1 engines at the show, as well as the new TD 3.6 Power Pack, a ready-to-install package for mobile machinery. Visitors to the stand will be able to see the company’s complete service offering for themselves, with a particular focus on DEUTZ genuine parts and fluids.

“The show is a great opportunity for us to engage with our OEM customers and rental equipment dealers,” says Robert Mann, DEUTZ Corporation President and CEO. “The rental industry is a growing market for our products, and getting feedback from customers and dealers is crucial to ensuring that we don’t just meet expectations, but exceed them.”
