PSI’s 2.4-L Industrial Engine Featured by Yale Materials Handling during ProMat 2019

The engine powers the Yale GLC050LX2 lift truck which can be used in a variety of applications and industries.

Power Solutions International Inc. (PSI), a leader in the design, engineering and manufacture of emissions-certified, alternative-fuel power systems, featured its 2.4-L industrial mobile engine in conjunction with Yale Materials Handling during the ProMat 2019 show April 8-11 in McCormick Place in Chicago. 

The engine provides power, efficiency, durability and reduced noise and vibration to the Yale GLC050LX2 lift truck. ProMat attendees visiting the Yale booth #S3603 could see first-hand how the LX lift truck series with PSI 2.4-L engines offers end users power, efficiency and agility in tight spaces. The truck is used in a variety of industries including general warehousing and distribution, beverage distribution and bottling, light manufacturing and retail.

PSI’s industrial 2.4-Lengine is EPA and California Air Resources Board (CARB) certified for off-road mobile use. The fuel-flexible engine can run on gasoline, LPG and natural gas fuels.

In addition to the 2.0-L and 2.4-L engines, PSI supplies Yale with 4.3-L V6 and 5.7-L V8 engines. PSI’s internal combustion engines can power forklift applications ranging from 1-8 tons.

ProMat 2019 featured more than 1,000 exhibitors showcasing the latest manufacturing, distribution and supply chain equipment and systems. In addition, participants can attend more than 100 show floor seminars, including sessions about emerging technologies and sustainable facility solutions.
