Volvo Penta has introduced its 5- and 13-L (1.3- and 3.4-gal.) Stage V engines.

• Works in harmony with complementary exhaust aftertreatment system (EATS) to comply with forthcoming EU Stage V emissions standards

• Hardware layout and electrical interfaces are compatible with engines of earlier emissions legislation
• Air inlet throttle, together with uncooled EGR and electrical exhaust pressure governor (EPG) deliver highly effective heat management

• Suited for harvesters and large machinery
• 6-cylinder unit
• Maximum output of 405 kW (551 hp) at 1,900 rpm

5-L TAD580-582VE

• 4-cylinder unit
• For smaller agricultural equipment
• Maximum output of 160 kW (218 hp) at 2,200 rpm
