FPT Industrial introduces three on-road Cursor engines—the Cursor 9, Cursor 11 and Cursor 13—which meet the GBVI emissions regulations set to be fully implemented in China starting July 1, 2021.

  • Utilizes Ti-V (Titanium – Vanadium) aftertreatment technology which does not require parking or fuel injection use for regeneration, reducing downtime and fuel consumption for customers
  • Ti-V features high sulfur resistance and higher adaptability to low-quality fuels, as well as low operating temperatures
  • eVGT (Electronically-Controlled Variable Geometry Turbocharger) technology also included on Cursor 13 engine
  • VGT allows maximum torque up to 2,500 Nm (1,843.9 ft.-lb.) at speeds as low as 950 rpm, enabling full power when starting and accelerating
  • eVGT can improve engine’s in-cylinder braking effect by more than 60%, reducing brake pad wear and driver fatigue
  • eVGT matches well with automated manual transmissions (AMT) to create more intelligent driving experience
  • Utilizes FPT’s High-Efficiency SCR Aftertreatment System (HI-eSCR) to meet emissions regulations

  • Maximum power output of 390 hp (291 kW) at 2,100 rpm
  • Maximum torque of 1,600 Nm (2,280.10 ft.-lb.) at 1,100-1,500 rpm
  • Measures 1,186 L x 981 W x 873 H mm (46.69 x 38.62 x 34.37 in.)
  • DOC + DPF + Hi-eSCR System + CUC aftertreatment

Cursor 11

  • Features two different turbochargers, one for tippers and one for tractors, which achieve customized external characteristic curves Cursor 11Cursor 11FPT Industrial
  • Use in tractors that focus on low-torque can reach peak values of 2,100 Nm at just 950 rpm, while tippers have no power derating up to 3,000 m (9,842.5 ft.) altitude
  • Best suited for highway transportation
  • In-line-6-cylinder with 11.12 L total displacement
  • Common rail fuel injection system
  • Includes turbocharger with wastegate
  • Maximum power rating of 460 hp (343 kW) at 1,900 rpm
  • Maximum torque (Tractor) of 2,100 Nm (1,548.88 ft.-lb.) at 950-1,400 rpm
  • Maximum torque (Tipper) of 2,100 Nm (1,548.88 ft.-lb.) at 1,100-1,400 rpm

Cursor 13

  • Inclusion of eVGT enables wide speed range to reduce the number of shifts necessary during operation while acceleration response at low speeds is increased 100%

  • Electronic control high pressure common rail fuel injection system
  • Maximum power rating of 560 hp (417.6 kW) at 1,900 rpm
  • Maximum torque of 2,500Nm (1,843.91 ft.-lb.) at 950-1,500 rpm
  • Measures 1,505 L x 1,077 W x 1,150 H mm (59.25 x 42.40 x 45.28 in.)
