
Danfoss Power Solutions has finalized its acquisition of hose fittings manufacturer Hydro Holding Spa after receiving all necessary approvals. The acquisition provides Danfoss with a local fittings production base in Italy and the Czech Republic and adds 350 employees.
Hydro Holding, headquartered in Castello d’Argile, Italy, manufactures carbon steel and stainless steel fittings, adapters and hose assemblies. These products will expand the Danfoss portfolio of hoses and fittings.

“With Hydro Holding joining Danfoss, we complete the foundation for our new European fittings platform,” said Domenico Traverso, president, Fluid Conveyance, Danfoss Power Solutions. “Hydro Holding gives us a strong and scalable base in Italy and the Czech Republic, strengthening our ability to serve OEMs and distributors with local production, competitive cost structures and fast response times.”
Hydro Holding will be integrated into Danfoss Power Solutions’ Fluid Conveyance division as a new business unit named Hydro. Stefano Bordegnoni, who has served as CEO of Hydro Holding since May 2024, will lead the new unit as vice president, Hydro, reporting to Traverso.

Together with Danfoss, we create a strong commercial offering that enables us to deliver even greater value to our customers,” Bordegnoni said. “The top priority for the Hydro BU and the Fluid Conveyance division is continuity for customers and distributors.”
Danfoss Power Solutions’ Fluid Conveyance division manufactures hoses and fittings for mobile and industrial equipment. With the addition of Hydro Holding’s 350 employees, the division will have approximately 5,650 employees.
