The China location will serve as the company’s operating base for Asia / Pacific markets and will include manifold manufacturing responsibility, assembly and test capabilities, combination valve design, as well as, customer service and sales support activities.

The Changzhou location is the company’s fourth global manufacturing location and will supplement services provided to the Americas through its headquarters and machining operations in Lincolnshire, Illinois, and through European manufacturing and support offices in Birmingham, England. Responsibilities and manufacturing activities at the company’s U.S. and U.K. operations are not affected by the addition. Cartridge valve products will continue to be sourced from the U.S. and U.K. where the company maintains highly developed and specialized cartridge production capabilities. Circuit configuration, system packaging and manifold production resources will be controlled locally in order to assure responsive application development and speed of delivery to regional customers.

HydraForce China operations will be under the direction of Operations Manager, Mr. Jianping Chen, who will relocate from the company’s headquarters in Illinois to Changzhou. Jianping is a long-time employee of HydraForce, Inc. with extensive experience in sales, engineering, and manufacturing support roles. He will be assisted in the establishment of operating systems and personnel by functional specialists from both Lincolnshire and Birmingham.

Asia / Pacific Sales and application development activities are coordinated through HydraForce representative offices located in China and Korea; a planned location in Japan, as well as, through the company’s global distributor network.
