Alkon Corporation Names Rahul Deshmukh CEO

Deshmukh brings over 20 years of industrial leadership experience to Alkon Corporation as he succeeds Mark L. Winter as CEO.

Alkon Corporation has appointed Rahul Deshmukh as chief executive officer. Effective July 14, 2026, Deshmukh succeeds Mark L. Winter, who served as president from 1996 to 2018 before becoming CEO and chairman of the board. Under Winter's leadership, Alkon grew from a 15-person operation into a company with four manufacturing facilities and more than 300 employees.

Deshmukh is a seasoned operating executive with more than two decades of experience leading global manufacturing businesses. He joins Alkon from May River Capital, where he served as CEO before transitioning to chairman of the executive board for Cashco Inc., a manufacturer of flow control solutions. Deshmukh has extensive experience scaling portfolio companies for both public and private equity funds.

Deshmukh holds an MBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Mumbai.

Headquartered in Fremont, Ohio, Alkon produces pneumatic components and motion control solutions. The company has operations in Fremont, Ohio; Brighton, Michigan; Chicago, Illinois and Mexico City, Mexico. Its product portfolio includes fittings, valves, cylinders, DuraLink tubing and integrated systems such as air distribution, axle control, air suspension and tire inflation systems. These products are sold under the Alkon, Allenair and AIRman Products brands.
