A message from Man & Material Lift Engineering President, Jeff Baily:
I am pleased to announce that we have reached a definitive agreement to become a part of Universal Mfg. Co., a Lincoln, Nebraska based company with manufacturing facilities in Algona, Iowa. Under the agreement, substantially all of the assets of MLE will be acquired by a newly formed wholly owned subsidiary of UMC, Man Lift Mfg. Co.
This was not an easy decision for me because I have nurtured MLE from a small start-up to a successful, growing and exciting business. This transaction will, however, provide us the ability to continue to grow and be of greater service to our valued customers.
The actual operation will continue as it has in the past – I will remain the President and CEO of the new company, Man Lift Mfg. Co. We will have the same mission, serving our customers by providing safe, environmentally friendly, quality equipment that is specifically designed to meet your needs. The employees that you have come to know and work with are all staying on with the Man Lift Mfg. Co. Telephone numbers, address and e-mail addresses will all remain the same.
