AEM recently participated in the Canada-U.S. Manufacturing Summit, which was held for the first time ever this year. The summit was organized by the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters, and the the National Association of Manufacturers.
At the summit leaders from the manufacturing industry as well as Canadian and American officials came together to discuss the benefits of cross-border trading between Canada and the U.S.
Figures show that exports to Canada are higher than those to the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan and China combined. This summit provided an opportunity for industry and government leaders to discuss ways to continue and improve that trade relationship.
