Allen Chitty has been appointed to the position of Product Specialist, Surface Drilling Equipment (SDE), for Atlas Copco Construction Mining Technique USA LLC, effective October 1. In his new role Chitty will report directly to Maurice Hunter, Business Line Manager, SDE.
Prior to this most recent appointment, Chitty had been a field technician in the Sacramento Atlas Copco store for almost six years, where he gained broad experience with the SDE product line. He served as a trainer for customers and was lead technician on the Folsom Dam project during his time with the Sacramento branch.
While his responsibility encompasses the entire SDE line, Chitty’s duties will include an emphasis on the new Powercrusher line of rock crushers and screeners.
Chitty will continue to work out of the Atlas Copco Sacramento branch.
