Nominations are now open for 2012 inductees into the AEM Hall of Fame, the program of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) that honors individuals whose inventions, ideas and leadership have contributed significantly to the growth and strength of the off-road equipment industry.
The AEM Hall of Fame recognizes and celebrates these industry innovators and visionaries and their achievements.
Nomination deadline is July 17, 2012; more information and the nomination form are online at www.aem.org/HallofFame.
Nominees should be from the manufacturing, distribution, rental or end-user sectors of the off-road equipment industry. Any person, living or deceased, who has made noteworthy and specific contributions that have helped improve the industry is eligible.
Candidates are evaluated on five criteria that are critical to the health of the off-road equipment manufacturing industry: 1) innovation, 2) industry contributions, 3) leadership, 4) corporate citizenship/social responsibility and 5) sustainability. There is no limit to the number of nominations that may be submitted, but each nomination must include supporting documentation.
Nominees are evaluated by an independent panel of industry experts. Since its inception, nearly 40 industry leaders have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.
By highlighting the industry's legacy of progress, the AEM Hall of Fame also promotes greater public understanding and appreciation of the importance of the off-road equipment industry to global economic and social prosperity
